The Digital Cluster responds to the training needs of digital talent through training

Rosa Porta,

This is the organization's initiative to help tackle the recurring challenges that talent management poses, especially in the digital sector. This focuses specifically on issues such as technical skills shortages, brain drain, lack of adequate training, the gender gap and global competition in the search for professionals.

These problems have been evident within the Cluster Digital ecosystem on several occasions, the result of own activities or collaborations, and have also served to detect certain common training needs in the sector. To deal with them, the Cluster has created spaces and promoted activities for continuous training.

Among these, two subsidized training courses within the framework of the Conforcat a Mida programs, financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, which is promoted by the Consortium for Continuous Training of Catalonia. The first of the courses, on agile project management, started last year and ended this February with a total of 30 people certified. The second course, on Cybersecurity and Blockchain, will start next April and registrations are now open.

But the Digital Cluster's strongest bet is the La Salle URL BCN Digital & Management Training Program, which will begin on May 16 and will consist of 8 intensive days with the aim of providing analysis tools, vision and approach for to digitalization decision-making in the company to managerial and managerial profiles.

It will combine master sessions taught by a high-impact expert from La Salle, real use cases and soft skills sessions with the objectives of updating the digitalization management skills of those who participate. , learn about new trends and realities and acquire management and people management skills in the new digital reality.

The Cluster has launched an EARLY BIRD promotion with which people who register before March 25 will benefit from a 15% discount on the price.

To complete all this commitment, with the IRC project 'Clúster Academy: E-Learning Platform for Generation and Attraction of Talent', the Cluster is shaping a tool capable of facilitating the generation of shared value, influencing the empowerment of the workforce of companies through training and improving the ability to attract female talent.
