We would like to invite you to participate in the matchmaking process of the GATE5.0 project, taking place from March 1 to  April 30.

GATE5.0 – Green and Digital Transitions for a  Sustainable European Agrifood Ecosystem is a European programme coordinated by the Clúster Digital de Catalunya, aimed at accelerating the green and digital transformation of the agrifood sector across Europe.

We are now launching the matchmaking process to connect:

  • Agrifood       SMEs facing operational, sustainability, or productivity challenges they want to solve.
  • Technology       SMEs offering digital solutions (AI, IoT, robotics, UAVs, data analytics, decision-support systems, etc.) capable of addressing these challenges.

What is the objective of this matchmaking  process?

This matchmaking is a practical way to transform real agrifood sector needs and digital technological capabilities into funded innovation projects with European impact.

The ultimate goal is to:

  • Form consortia (minimum 1 agrifood SME + 1 technology SME)
  • Jointly submit a proposal to the GATE5.0 Open Call

Selected consortia may receive up to  €118,500 per consortium, including:

✔ Direct financial support
 ✔ Capacity-building activities
✔ Participation in a structured Acceleration Programme to validate and implement the solution

Online Information Sessions

Throughout the process, we will organise three  online information sessions, where we will explain:

  • The objectives and structure of the GATE5.0 project
  • Call conditions (eligibility criteria and funding scheme)
  • How the matchmaking process works
  • How to use the B2Match platform
  • How to prepare and submit a competitive proposal

You can choose the date that best fits your schedule:

📅 March 10
 📅 March 24
 📅 April 7

How does the matchmaking process work?

The process will take place via the B2Match platform, available from March 1 to April 30:

  • 1️ Register and create your       profile

Agrifood SMEs should describe the specific challenge they aim to address.

Technology SMEs should present their digital capabilities and services.

  • 2️ Identify potential partners       and schedule 1:1 meetings
    • Search for complementary profiles.
    • Pre-scheduled bilateral meetings (15–20 minutes) to explore project fit and feasibility.
  • 3️ Form your consortium and       submit your proposal

Build your consortium (minimum 1 agrifood SME + 1 tech SME).

Jointly prepare and submit your proposal to the Open Call.

Don’t miss this opportunity!
Access the platform, create your profile, and register for one of the three available sessions. You are just one step away from driving impactful innovation projects in the European agrifood sector.
