Who we are

The Clúster Digital de Catalunya is a private association that includes companies and entities of the Catalan ICT sector. Its main objective is to enhance the competitiveness of its members by focusing on a new business culture based on collaboration and open innovation, promotion of synergies, sharing knowledge and the generation of innovative projects.

Mission

To catalyze the resources of the ICT sector in Catalonia by taking advantage of the existing synergies among its agents in order to contribute to the development of digital companies, increase their business volume and competitiveness, stimulate the development of new products and services of high added value and position the cluster and its members as a benchmark of excellence and innovation at local and international level.

Vision

To be a reference center in Catalonia in the ICT field with the capacity to establish collaboration links and appropriate development tools between ICT agents (SMEs and large companies, universities, R&D&I centers, etc.), administrations and society in general, as well as to maximize the use of resources for the promotion and development of R&D&I projects that pursue excellence in priority sectors.

Strategic Lines

  1. Knowledge and Innovation

    The Clúster Digital de Catalunya promotes spaces for generating connections and stimulating innovation and research. These spaces are necessary for the ideation and acceleration of innovative projects: sharing experiences and knowledge around digital topics, implementing mechanisms of technology transfer and knowing how to apply innovation methodologies are all aspects that are promoted through specific activities in the framework of this line.

  2. Generation and acceleration of projects

    The generation of projects contributes to strengthen the growth of companies in the digital sector and this is based on the identification of new business opportunities and collaborative initiatives that increase the competitiveness of companies or agents in sectors of technological demand. It starts from a double perspective: on one hand, to promote the generation of projects between and with digital companies and, on the other hand, to promote the generation of projects between digital companies and companies or agents of economic sectors of sophisticated demand.

  3. Positioning and visibility

    Improving the visibility of the associates and of the organization itself with the aim of making their projects and products or services known. For this reason, activities and events are organized, with the necessary communication actions, that allow to visualize the innovations and innovative proposals that are being produced in the digital sector in Catalonia and, specifically, to the social masses.

Next generation EU

The Digital Cluster is a meeting space formed by a group of companies, entities and research groups with a connecting link " ICT".

It brings together start-ups, SMEs and large companies and other entities to boost the competitiveness of the Catalan ICT sector, promoting a new business culture based on collaboration and open innovation.


The members of the Digital Cluster of Catalonia agree in their general assembly on the strategic objectives of the organization and choose the Board of Directors that must take the appropriate initiatives to achieve them. The Board of Directors is made up of professionals representing the organizations that compose the cluster and meets periodically.

The Cluster also has an Advisory Board made up of 10 representatives of the Board, the companies in the cluster and other public administrations. They help us enriching the strategic approach of the Digital Cluster.
